ATW Centurion 100KM Triathlon : Box End Lakes
The event at Box End Lakes, Bedford, offers a Metric Centurion triathlon comprising a lake swim, a road bike section and an offroad run. The Metric Centurion distance is a 2.2 km swim in Box End Lake, an 81 km road bike on fast country roads and a 20 km offroad run. The bike leg is non draft legal. Camping is available at Box End Park and free parking is provided at the venue.

Alternative formats include an Aquabike option for the Metric Centurion and relay entries for two or three-person teams who split the disciplines. Published entry fees range from £100 to £145 depending on the selected option.
Cut offs and typical split times are published for reference: swim cut off 2 hrs 30 min (many finish under 1 hr 10 min), bike cut off 6 hrs 30 min from race start (many complete the bike in about 3 hrs), and final race cut off 8 hrs 30 min from race start. Event organisation is by Active Training World, established in 2011. Participant feedback notes clear water, marked courses, strong marshalling and some concerns about bike laps on fast A roads and the run terrain.
