ATW Centurion 100KM Triathlon : Box End Lakes
The event is a metric centurion triathlon held at Box End Lakes, Box End Rd, Bedford MK43 8RN, organised by Active Training World. The main distance combines a lake swim, a road bike section, and an offroad run. Alternatives include an aquabike option and a relay for two or three team members.
Distances available:
- Metric Centurion: 2250m swim, 81km bike, 20km offroad run
- Standard Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 26 km bike, 5 km run
The bike leg is non-draft legal. Event cutoffs are published: a swim cut-off of 2 hours 30 minutes, a bike cut-off of 6 hours 30 minutes from race start, and a final race cut-off of 8 hours 30 minutes from race start. Most competitors complete the swim and bike in substantially shorter times according to event notes.
Camping is available at Box End Park. Entry options listed include individual Centurion, Centurion Aquabike, and Centurion Relay with published prices. Transgender athletes are welcomed; competitive categories include a Female category open to athletes of the female sex at birth and an Open category open to all other athletes.
