Event overview
The ATW Bedford 5 & 10 is a chip-timed road running event held on 25/01/2026 at Russell Park, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 3RH. The organiser is Active Training World. The event includes a free children’s fun run held before the 10 mile race; no advance booking is required for the fun run.
Course and race details
The race uses a flat, traffic-free 5 mile lap that starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment. The route follows hard-standing tarmac and firm paths alongside the River Ouse, crosses near Town Bridge and loops around Priory Lake. Total elevation is under 100 m for the course. The 10 mile race completes the same lap twice, bypassing the finish area on the first lap. The course is described as well marked and marshalled. Finish-line announcements and catering are provided, and finishers receive a custom medal and snacks.

Distances
- 5 miles - one lap, open to entrants aged 15 and over on the event date
- 10 miles - two laps, open to entrants aged 17 and over on the event date
Price ranges shown are £25–£27 for the 5 mile and £29–£31 for the 10 mile. The event supports Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Transfer and refund policy
