ATW Bedford 5 & 10
ATW Bedford 5 & 10 is a chip timed running event held at Russell Park, Bedford, MK40 3RH. The event offers two official distances:
- 5 miles
- 10 miles
The 5 mile lap starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment, heads toward Town Bridge, crosses the river and returns toward Priory Park on hard standing, traffic-free paths beside the River Ouse. The route loops around Priory Lake and returns along the Embankment. The surface is flat tarmac or firm paths with less than 100 m of elevation over the course. The 10 mile distance bypasses the finish area and completes the lap twice.
Event features include a professional commentator at the finish, on-course marshals, well marked routes, finish line snacks and goodies, and a custom medal. A free children’s fun run takes place before the 10 mile start; no prior booking is required and participants may use it as a warm up. The event lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a charity partner with opportunities to donate at checkout.
Entry prices are shown between GBP 30.00 and GBP 39.00 depending on distance. The organiser provides a transfer option to future ATW events; refunds are not offered and transfers can be made up to 48 hours before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
