Course, support and policies
The 5 mile lap starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment, follows paths toward Town Bridge, crosses the river, runs alongside the River Ouse and loops around Priory Lake before returning to the Embankment. The surface is tarmac or firm paths. The 10 mile route bypasses the finish area to complete the lap a second time.
The event offers a finish-area commentator, on-site catering for spectators, a custom medal and finish-line snacks. The event lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a charity partner with opportunities to donate or fundraise at checkout. There is no allocated parking; parking is available at several locations in Bedford within a short walk of the race HQ. ATW’s policy allows transfers to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and person-to-person transfers are not offered.
