Entry fees shown in the event information range from £25 to £31. The 5-mile race is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the event date. The 10-mile race is open to entrants aged 17 and over on the event date.
Course and race information
The 5-mile course is a single lap that starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment. The route heads toward Town Bridge, crosses the river, returns toward Priory Park on hard standing traffic-free paths alongside the River Ouse, loops around Priory Lake, and returns to the embankment. The surface is flat, traffic-free tarmac or firm paths, with under 100 m of elevation across the full lap. The 10-mile route completes the lap twice by bypassing the finish area on the first circuit. The event is chip timed.
A free Children’s Fun Run takes place before the 10-mile start; no pre-booking is required, participants should turn up at registration. Finish-area facilities include a professional commentator and catering for spectators. The organiser’s transfer policy permits transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered.
