ATW Bedford 5 & 10
ATW Bedford 5 & 10 is scheduled for 24/01/2027 at Russell Park, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 3RH. The event offers chip timed races over two distances and takes place on traffic-free tarmac and firm paths alongside the River Ouse.
The course for the 5 mile race is a single lap that starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment. It passes Town Bridge, follows hard-standing paths beside the river, loops around Priory Lake and returns along the Embankment. The route is flat with less than 100 m of total elevation. The 10 mile option completes the same lap twice, bypassing the finish area to start the second circuit.
Facilities and race features include a professional commentator at the finish area, on-site caterers for spectators, finish-line snacks and a custom-designed medal. Supportive marshals and a well marked course are listed among the event arrangements. A free Children’s Fun Run is scheduled before the 10 mile start; no prior booking is required for the fun run.
The event lists a charity partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK and notes opportunities to donate and fundraise at checkout. Entry prices range from £26 to £34. There is no allocated parking; nearby parking locations are available within a short walk.
