Atlanta Marathon Weekend

Atlanta Marathon Weekend takes place March 6 and 7, 2027 in Downtown Atlanta. The weekend program includes a full marathon, a half marathon, a 5K and youth races for children 14 and under. The 5K and youth events occur on Saturday and the full and half marathon take place on Sunday.

The marathon is an Abbott World Marathon Major Wanda Age Group World Rankings qualifying race. The youth portion offers a 5K, a 3K and a 50M Dash. Children may run multiple youth distances and can use a Track & Field Zone.

Entry fees vary by distance and registration period. Published examples include the half marathon starting at $90 for the first 500 participants and rising to $145 at the Expo; the marathon starting at $130 for the first 500 and rising to $220 at the Expo; and the 5K starting at $35 for the first 250 and rising to $55 at the Expo. The first 1,000 spots receive the lowest price of the year. Spots are available until the race sells out and there are no guaranteed entries at the Expo.
