Atlanta Marathon Weekend, March 6 and 7, 2027
Atlanta Marathon Weekend is a two day running event in Downtown Atlanta that features road races for adults and youth. The weekend schedules the 5K and youth events on Saturday and the full and half marathon on Sunday. The marathon is an Abbott World Marathon Major Wanda Age Group World Rankings qualifying race.
Distances offered include:
- Full marathon
- Half marathon
- 5K
- Youth 5K
- Youth 3K
- 50M Dash
The youth program is for children 14 and under and includes a 5K, 3K and a 50M Dash. Children may enter multiple distances and access a Track & Field Zone.
Entry fees increase in tiers by date and differ by distance. Examples of published pricing tiers include:
- Half marathon: from $90 for the first 500 participants up to $145 at the Expo.
- Marathon: from $130 for the first 500 participants up to $220 at the Expo.
- 5K: from $35 for the first 250 participants up to $55 at the Expo.
The first 1,000 race spots receive the lowest price level. Spots are available until the event sells out; there are no guaranteed entries at the Expo.
