Live Laugh Long Distance - 007
Ate Miles organises a community run that meets at La Trobe Sports Stadium (LTSS) in Bundoora and follows the Darebin Creek Trail. The run is led by Ate Miles community members and is followed by coffee and snacks provided by Run La Trobe.
The event includes group pacing with approximate distances and paces so runners can choose a suitable group. Door prizes and a free Run La Trobe coffee cup are provided for attendees. Participants who want a longer outing are advised to add extra kilometres beforehand so they can join the post run refreshments with the group. The organiser also offers to help arrange car-pooling for those who need transport to Bundoora.
Ate Miles acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land and pays respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
