Ashridge Boundary Run 2027
The Ashridge Boundary Run is a trail race held on 20 March 2027 at Aldbury Recreation Ground, Stocks Road, Aldbury HP23 5RX, England. The course follows the well-marked Ashridge Boundary Trail around the Ashridge Estate and this year is run in a clockwise direction. The route is approximately 17.5 miles over varied trail and off-road terrain. The only planned deviation from the official boundary route is a visit to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon.
The event is run with the kind permission of the National Trust and a donation to the National Trust will be made from the entry fee for every participant. Entry fees are listed as follows: affiliated club runners £22.50 and non-affiliated runners £23.50. England Athletics and Welsh Athletics membership numbers are checked during registration to apply the appropriate discount; Scottish Athletics members may enter their membership number to obtain the same discount. An administration fee is added by the online entry system partner.
Water is provided on the route and every entrant receives a finishers gift. Prizes are awarded to the top male and top female finishers. There are toilets at the start and finish; no showers are available. The event is timed by the organisers. In case of adverse weather the organisers may change the route or cancel the event at the request of the National Trust; entrants accept this condition and refunds or deferrals may not be offered in the event of cancellation.
