ORC Grand Prix Ashokan Rail Trail 8 Miler
This event is the fifth running of the Ashokan Rail Trail (ART) 8-Mile Run. The course is entirely on a well-groomed unpaved carriage path that runs alongside the Ashokan Reservoir in Ulster County. The start and finish are located at the Woodstock Dike Trailhead of the ART in West Hurley, New York.
Parking is provided free but is limited; the event is capped at 100 participants. Organizers strongly encourage carpooling to reduce the number of vehicles needed on site.
Awards are presented to the first man and first woman overall and to the top three finishers in each standard age group. A commemorative item is given to the first 100 registrants.
