About the race
The 2027 Asheville Spartan Event Weekend is an obstacle course racing event held July 31 to August 1, 2027 at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina. The venue is a large equestrian facility with nearby lodging, village food and evening entertainment options.
The course uses existing horse trails and includes red clay hill climbs and creek-beds. Course maps are published for the venue and are subject to change depending on conditions. A volunteer program is available that can include a race entry in exchange for service.
Race options and features include:
- Sprint: 5 km, 20 obstacles
- Super: 10 km, 25 obstacles
- Kids Race: 1-3 km, obstacles
- Hurricane Heat: 4 hour event
- Spectator access
Listed ticket prices on event materials include examples such as Sprint at $89 and $67 with a code, Super at $105 and $79, Kids from $29, and Hurricane Heat from $75.
