The event supports a local nonprofit partner, Food Connection, with a portion of each registration fee donated to help provide fresh meals to the community. Participants receive several items with their registration, including a finisher medal, a short-sleeved technical race t-shirt, and a custom race bib. The race is professionally chip-timed, and post-race snacks are provided to participants.

Registration discounts are available for groups of four or more people when signing up in a single transaction. While the event is open to various participants, there are specific guidelines for safety and logistics. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the field. Walkers are also welcome, provided they can complete the course within one hour and 15 minutes. For safety and insurance reasons, dogs and other animals are not permitted to run with participants, though service animals may be allowed with prior approval.

Packet pick-up is available on the day before the race at a local brewery location, as well as on the morning of the event at Pack Square. In the event of dangerous weather conditions or flooding, the race may be postponed to a later date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
