Asheville Craft Beer Half Marathon & 10K/5K
The event on August 29, 2026 takes place in downtown Asheville, NC, with start and finish in Pack Square (80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801). The race offers in-person and virtual options across multiple distances:

The course runs through the Brewery District, the River Arts District, along the French Broad River north to Beaver Lake, past Grove Park, near Weaver Park and the UNC Asheville campus, and returns to downtown via Broadway Street. The route includes hills and has set time limits: a 3:00 hour limit for the half and a 1:45 limit for the 10K. The event is capped at 2,500 participants and there is no race day registration; all registration closes August 28, 2026.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Asheville Brewing Company; a will-call pickup option is available on race day. Timing is provided by SVE Timing Services with disposable timing tags. Water and portable toilets are provided roughly every 2 miles and water bottles will be available after the finish. Dogs and strollers are not allowed. Awards are given for top finishers overall and by age division; unclaimed awards are not shipped.
