Asheville Half Marathon & 10K/5K - Event details
The Asheville Half Marathon & 10K/5K is scheduled for August 29, 2026 in Asheville, NC, presented by Taylor Clay Products. The event begins and ends at Pack Square (80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801). The in-person events and virtual options listed are:

The half marathon entry is capped at 2,500 participants. There will be no race day registration and all in-person registration closes August 28, 2026. Virtual registration deadlines are listed for the virtual events.
Course and logistics
The course starts and finishes in Pack Square and passes through the Brewery District, the Arts District, and along the French Broad River north to Beaver Lake, then by Grove Park Country Club, Weaver Park, and the UNCA campus before returning via Broadway Street. Water stations and portable restrooms are provided roughly every 2 miles; porta-potties are located at the start/finish area. Timing is provided by SVE Timing Services using RM Timing Systems and disposable timing tags are distributed at packet pick up.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Asheville Brewing Company (77 Coxe Ave). Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course. Time limits are 3:00 hours for the half marathon and 1:45 for the 10K. Awards are given to top overall finishers and division winners across the races; divisions include Overall, Masters, and standard age groups.
