Asheville Craft Beer Half Marathon - 10K - 5K
The Asheville Craft Beer Half Marathon - 10K - 5K is scheduled for August 29, 2026, with start and finish in Pack Square at 80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801. The event offers in-person and virtual options and is limited to 2,500 participants; there is no race day registration.

The course begins and ends in Pack Square and runs through Asheville neighborhoods and along the French Broad River, routing north to Beaver Lake and passing the Brewery District, the River Arts District, Grove Park, Weaver Park, the UNC Asheville campus, and Broadway Street. The route includes hilly sections and water stops approximately every 2 miles. Portos are located at the start/finish area. A water bottle is provided after the race; participants are asked to bring their own water to the start.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Asheville Brewing Company. Runners receive a tech shirt (guaranteed for registrations before August 1), finisher medal, and other event items; a pint glass and can coozie are provided to the first 1,000 half marathon registrants. Timing is provided using disposable timing tags.
Time limits apply: 3:00 hours for the half marathon and 1:45 for the 10K. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Awards are presented for overall and age-group divisions; unclaimed awards are not shipped. Entry fees are non-refundable and registrations are non-transferable, though transfers into the virtual event are permitted until August 10, 2026.
