Asha Jyothi 5K - Fairfax
The 18th annual Asha-Jyothi 5K Run/Walk is a community fundraising event held in Fairfax Corner, Fairfax, Virginia, on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event features live music, food, stage performances including Bollywood dances, prize distribution and a family-friendly course.

Packet pickup is scheduled on September 18 and September 19 at local PRR stores, and on race day at Fairfax Corner. Participants should note there is no guarantee of a T-shirt on race day. A certified race route map is available for the 5K course.
Registration pricing is tiered: early bird registration is $25 during April and May, regular registration is $30 from June through September, and the price increases by $5 one week before the event.
Asha-Jyothi is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization focused on providing access to education and healthcare for underprivileged communities. The organization directs registration funds back to participating schools for STEM needs, maintains STEM lab donations in partnership with local schools, and reports supporting more than 6,250 children in education each year.
