As Keen As Mustard Grafham Swimrun Survivor
As Keen As Mustard Grafham Swimrun Survivor is a solo timed lap swimrun on 27 September 2026 at Grafham Water Visitor Centre, Marlow Car Park, Buckden Rd, Grafham, Huntingdon PE28 0BH. The event uses a 2.5 km lap that starts and finishes on land and includes two swim sections in Grafham Water and three run sections per lap.
Each lap totals 2.5 km with 20 m of elevation. Per-lap splits are Run 1 700 m, Swim 1 220 m, Run 2 1000 m, Swim 2 400 m, Run 3 250 m. The event is structured with progressively shorter time allowances per lap: lap 1 allows 40 minutes, lap 2 38 minutes, lap 3 36 minutes, and continuing down to lap 12 which allows 16 minutes; cumulative distances increase to a maximum of 30 km for 12 laps.
Entry is solo only and open to participants aged 18 or over who can swim and run the minimum lap distances. Mandatory equipment includes a waterproof packaged small bandage, a whistle, a soft cup or water bladder, and a wetsuit if water temperature is below 14 degrees Celsius. Organisers supply visible race number bands and swimcaps which must be worn. Random kit checks will take place; flotation devices larger than 100 cm x 60 cm are not permitted.
The course is marked and must be followed; failure to follow the course or to reach the start line for the next lap before the cut off will result in disqualification. Marshals, medical staff and an ambulance will be present at Race HQ. Photography and film taken during the event may be used by the organisers free of rights.
