Event Overview

The Arundel Lido Triathlon will take place on 17 May 2026 in the town of Arundel, England. The 2026 edition will be the 22nd year for this event. The race headquarters is located at the unique Arundel Outdoor Lido, situated on the banks of the River Arun and near the town's medieval castle. The swim portion takes place in a heated, 25-meter outdoor swimming pool.

Distances and Format

Participants can choose from several race formats. There are two main triathlon distances:

  • Standard Triathlon: 750m swim, 38km bike, 8km run.
  • Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 19km bike, 5km run.

An Aqua Bike option, which involves the swim and bike segments only, is also available for both the Standard and Sprint courses. The bike course is described as rolling, and the run route goes along The Avenue of Trees, past Swanbourne Lake, and through the village of South Stoke.

Event Details

All participants must have either a British Triathlon (BT) membership with a race license or purchase a BT Race Pass for the event. Adult Race Passes for 2026 are priced at £8. The event is not chip-timed. At the event, participants will find catering, trade stands, and shower facilities. A free t-shirt is provided, and there will be event photography and prizes.
