Art's Loop
Art's Loop is a mountain running event in County Wicklow scheduled for Saturday 1 August 2026. The published course distance is 10.00 km with 680 m of climb and starts close to Oakwood Hostel.
The route runs via three checkpoints in this order: Art's Cross, Fair Mountain, White Hill. The route is unmarked and runners have free route choice between checkpoints; the organisers describe the terrain as rough. GPS devices are not allowed.
Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open Monday 27 July 2026 at 21:00 and close Friday 31 July 2026 at 18:00. The event is part of the Leinster Championship.
Mandatory kit is Level B standard and must be carried. Required items are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. The exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and announced at registration. Failure to have the required items may result in being denied entry or disqualification; random kit checks may be carried out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
