Practical Information

Registration opens on Monday, 9 February 2026, at 21:00 and closes on Friday, 13 February, at 18:00. The entry cost is €7 for seniors and €5 for participants over 65 or under 18. There is an entry limit of 250 participants.

Registration takes place from 9:30 to 10:40 at the Glenealy Village Hall. The race start is 1 km from the registration hall. An early start for slower runners is scheduled for 10:30. Short course runners begin at 11:05.

Mandatory Kit

All runners must bring a specific set of mandatory kit (Level B - Standard), including a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or equivalent. Runners must have the means to carry this kit. The actual items to be carried during the race will be finalized on the day based on conditions. Random kit checks may be conducted.

Location and Parking

The event is based in Glenealy village, Co. Wicklow. Parking is not at the summer venue. Participants are asked to park at the Glenealy Community Hall, a small car park opposite the Catholic church, or on the road up to the right after crossing the railway behind the church.
