Art for Your Heart 5k Run and Walk
Art for Your Heart is a 5K run and a 5K walk held at SAMA Altoona, 1210 11th Ave., Altoona, PA. The event benefits the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art and aims to connect community health activity with support for local arts.
Registration opens January 20, 2026 and closes May 22, 2026. The registration fee for each event is $25.00. Race packet pre pickup is available at SAMA Altoona on Thursday and Friday, May 21 and May 22, from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm. T shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by April 30. Day of packet pickup and registration are available at SAMA Altoona.
Awards are planned by age group and overall. Age categories include 10 and under, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group and to the top three male and top three female overall. Award winners must be present to receive medals.
