About the race
The Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk is a guided, marked urban run/walk in downtown Houston on 03/07/2027, hosted at the Flying Saucer with participation from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. The route is roughly 3 miles and begins and ends at the Flying Saucer location at 705 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002.
For a registration fee of $35 attendees receive a guided and marked 3ish mile run/walk, three pours from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass, and a breakfast from Texas Tamale Company. Packet pick up for the Art Car IPA 5K is available at the same location on the day of the social run until 2:00 PM. Registration opens 08/01/2026 and closes 03/08/2027.
All paces are welcome. The event provides at least three pace leaders positioned near the front, the middle, and the rear of the group. Parking in downtown Houston is free on Sundays. The social run/walk is held rain or shine; if weather prevents running, the planned food and beverage activities will continue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
