About the race
The Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk at the Flying Saucer in Houston on February 7, 2027 is a guided, marked social run/walk tied to the Art Car IPA 5K presented by UHD. The route is roughly 3ish miles and departs from and returns to the Flying Saucer at 705 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002.
A single event fee of $35 covers the guided and marked run/walk plus three beers from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass, and a Texas Tamale Company breakfast. The social format includes at least three pace leaders each week: one at the front, one in the middle, and a final pace leader at the back. All paces are welcome.
Parking is free in downtown Houston on Sundays. The social run/walk is scheduled rain or shine; if weather prevents running, the gathering continues with food and beer at the venue. The route simply starts at the Flying Saucer, follows the marked course for the roughly 3ish miles, and then returns to the starting location.
