About the race
The Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk at the Flying Saucer in Houston is a guided, marked social run and walk held on 11/01/2026. The route is roughly 3 miles and starts and finishes at the Flying Saucer at 705 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002.
For a registration fee of $35 participants receive a guided and marked run/walk, three brews from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass and a breakfast from Texas Tamale Company. Check in takes place at the Flying Saucer before the run.
The event features at least three pace leaders each session, positioned at the front, middle and rear to manage different speeds. All paces are welcome and the course follows a simple out-and-back pattern that returns to the venue.
Social runs are held rain or shine; if weather prevents running, the gathering at the Flying Saucer continues with food and beer. Parking is free in downtown Houston on Sundays. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
