Event overview
The Armstrong Valley Wine Run 5k is scheduled for March 15, 2026 at Armstrong Valley Winery, 212 Rutter Rd, Halifax, PA 17032. The event features a chip-timed 5k run/walk that is scored by a professional timing company. Results will be posted online at the timing provider's website.
Registration and race items
Registration includes a T‑shirt (ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that also serves as a bottle stopper, and a chip race bib. Registered participants receive a pour of wine; minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but not a wine glass or wine pour. Packet pickup is race day only.
Course and accessibility
The course starts and finishes near the parking area and tours two vineyards. It is a cross-country style route with areas of uneven footing and some inclines. Walking and stroller use are allowed, though strollers are not recommended because of the uneven ground. Dogs are not permitted on site.
Competition, awards and partners
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year category (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over). Competitive runners should start with the first group to be eligible for awards. The event lists Nik’s Wish as its charity partner.
