Arlington Independence Day Parade Firecracker 5K
The Arlington Independence Day Parade Firecracker 5K is the fourth annual running event held on July 4 along the Arlington Independence Day Parade Route. The course is a two loop route that starts and finishes at the Levitt Pavilion. There is no parking at the start and finish line lot.
The event offers both an in person 5K and a Virtual 5K option. All participants receive a finisher's medal. Additional awards include overall male and female, masters male and female, and prizes for the top three in each age division: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 plus.
Packet pickup is handled at The Runner Shop, 3535 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, on the two days before the event, with day of packet pickup available. T shirts are guaranteed for entrants who register before June 28. Strollers and well behaved dogs on leashes are allowed on the route.
