Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition 5K
The Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition 5K takes place on September 26, 2026 at Arizona Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. The event is organized by the Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition (AZPCC), an inclusive, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes awareness, education, early detection and effective treatment of prostate cancer and supports other organizations serving patients, caregivers and families.
The event features a single 5K run/walk on a flat, fast out-and-back course along the SRP canal. The course includes two water stops. The race is chip timed and offers age group awards. On-course provisions for participants include water, fruit and other snacks.
Registration pricing is stated as early registration for $35, which includes a tech t-shirt and a custom event medal; after August 22 registration is $40. The race is open to runners, walkers, strollers and dogs. All proceeds from the event are directed to furthering AZPCC’s mission.
A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend on the date. Virtual participants may choose their own day and time to complete the distance, submit their time by email, and receive a collectible medal. Race packets generally ship during race week or sooner.
