About the race
The Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition 5K is scheduled for September 26, 2026 at Arizona Falls in Phoenix, Arizona (5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018). The event is organized by Run Your Race and supports the Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition, an inclusive, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes awareness, education, early detection and treatment of prostate cancer and assists organizations that provide supportive services to patients and caregivers. All proceeds from the event go directly to the coalition's mission.
The event offers an in-person 5K run on a flat, out-and-back course along the SRP canal with two water stops. The race is chip timed and includes age-group awards. Participants are provided with water, fruit and other snacks. The event is open to runners, walkers, strollers and dogs. Early registration is $35 and includes a tech t-shirt and a custom event medal; after August 22 registration is $40. Registration closes September 25, 2026.
A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person; virtual participants can complete their chosen course on their own day and submit their time by email to receive a collectible medal.
