Ardmore RAH! 10K, 5K, Fun Run and Food Drive
Ardmore RAH! is a community running event and food drive held in the Ardmore neighborhood of Winston Salem. Net proceeds benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. The event date is October 17, 2026, and the in person gathering is based at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 1046 Miller Street, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
The event offers both in person and virtual participation across multiple distances:
- 1 mile Fun Run
- 5 km 5K
- 10 km 10K
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 20, 2026. Listed fees include a $15 Fun Run entry for in person, $35 for the in person 5K and $40 for the in person 10K; virtual fees are $10 for the Fun Run, $25 for the virtual 5K and $35 for the virtual 10K. Participants who register for both the 5K and 10K receive a $15 discount through the Second Helping Club.
The 5K and 10K races are sanctioned by USA Track & Field. Runners, walkers and wheelchair racers are welcome. Strollers are permitted and pets are not allowed on the course. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Winston Salem and at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on event weekend; packets and shirts are not available for shipping.
The event began in 2001 to support local food assistance and has donated more than $300,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
