US Road Running Haunted Event in Winston-Salem
The US Road Running event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, offers a series of road races held on an out-and-back course format. All participants must register through RunSignup prior to the event, as there is no registration available on the day of the race. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the first start and concludes 10 minutes before the running begins.
Available distances include:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of the out-and-back course.
- Marathon: Eight repetitions of the out-and-back course.
The event is held at 285 Meadowlark Drive. The 5K and 10K utilize a 1.56 mile course segment, while the Half Marathon and Marathon utilize a 1.64 mile segment. All race distances are subject to a total course time limit of 6 hours.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start of the event. Special recognition is given for the best costume after the group photo. All finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their respective distance. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward series standings.
