Arc of Attrition by UTMB
Arc of Attrition by UTMB is a coastal ultramarathon series held in Perranporth, Cornwall, UK. Races follow sections of the South West Coast Path and travel through varied coastal landscapes.
The event takes place each January. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 22 to 24 January in Perranporth. Courses run on rugged cliff paths with sustained climbs and exposure to unpredictable winter coastal conditions.
The event comprises four races with the following distances and elevation gains:
- Arc 100M: 173 km, 5507 m+ elevation
- Arc 100K: 82.7 km, 2708 m+ elevation
- Arc 50K: 49.4 km, 1458 m+ elevation
- Arc 20K: 22.1 km, 744 m+ elevation
Since its launch in 2015 the race series expanded from a single 100-mile event with 50 runners to include multiple distances within the UTMB World Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
