About the race
The ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk is a multi-distance trail event held at the Irene Athletics Clubhouse inside the Agricultural Research Centre Irene in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. Routes include both trail and road options contained within the ARC Irene grounds; the road option stays on venue roads only. Trail routes are full distance with no loops. Water tables are provided on all routes and walking or hiking is permitted on the 2km, 5km, 10km and 15km routes. Race numbers are issued on the morning of the event at registration.

Entry fees vary by distance with reduced pricing for children under 13 and adults over 60. An additional fee applies to on the day entries except for the reduced-age category which pays a flat rate. Amenities at the clubhouse include coffee, drinks and snacks. Entry includes a marked route, water tables, a finisher medal, venue entry, parking and Vitality points. The event is not pet friendly. No refunds or transfers are allowed and no license is required. Multiple payment methods are accepted on the day. A medal donation option supports a Make a Difference Campaign for an animal shelter.
