Klapperkop Road or Trail Run/Walk is an event at Klapperkop Nature Reserve in Pretoria organised by Revolution Trails. The event offers both road and trail options and does not require a license to participate.
Distances offered include:
- 2 km: R80 (pre-entry)
- 5 km: R110 (pre-entry)
- 10 km: R130 (pre-entry)
- 15 km: R150 (pre-entry)
On-the-day entries incur an additional R30 except for participants under 13 years and adults over 60 years, who pay R80 with no extra on-the-day charge. The 2 km course is described as half trail and half road. The road option uses only the roads within the nature reserve and does not go onto public roads.
Amenities at the venue include snacks and drinks. Entry includes a marked route, water tables on all routes, a finisher medal, venue entry and parking, and Vitality Points. Walking and hiking are allowed on all distances provided participants finish before the event cut-off. Pets are not permitted. Payments on the day accept cash, card and Snapscan.
