About the race
Queens Corner Community Fun Run is a community 5km run and walk held at the Queens Corner shopping centre parking lot in Queenswood, Pretoria. Entry is by pre-registration only through Quicket and the event has a cap of 400 participants. Online entries receive a goodie bag.
No entries are accepted on the day of the event. The route is mostly off road and is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams. No animals are allowed. Roller skates, mechanically operated devices and wheelchairs are not permitted to participate.
No seconding, bicycles or vehicles are allowed on the route. Listening devices such as iPods are not permitted. Entry cards must be clearly visible on the front of the entrant’s clothing and will be available for collection at Wimpy Queenswood on the day before the event and on the event day at the same venue. Water will be supplied at the finish only; there will be no water on route.
A time limit of 60 minutes applies to the 5km and cut-offs will be applied at 1 km and 2 km. Marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed. Medical assistance will be available.
