ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk - 25 July 2026
ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk takes place at the Irene Athletics Club located inside the Agricultural Research Centre Irene in Centurion, Gauteng. Race numbers are issued on the morning of the event at on-site registration. The venue includes a clubhouse with coffee, drinks and snacks, plus parking and venue entry.
Distances and pre-entry fees are listed below. An additional R30 applies for on-the-day entries except for children under 13 and adults over 60 who pay R80 with no extra on-the-day charge.
- 21 km Trail : R 170 (pre-entry)
- 15 km Trail : R 150 (pre-entry)
- 10 km Trail : R 130 (pre-entry)
- 5 km Trail : R 110 (pre-entry)
- 3 km Trail : R 80 (pre-entry)
Routes are marked and water tables are provided on all routes. Trail routes are full distance with no loops. A road option uses roads within the ARC Irene grounds only and does not go onto public roads. Walking and hiking are permitted on several shorter routes including 3 km, 5 km, 10 km and 15 km. GPX files, route maps and elevation profiles are available from the event organiser.
Pets are not permitted. Entry includes a finisher medal; participants may donate the cost of their medal to the Make a Difference Campaign, with funds to be given to an animal shelter at year end. No race license is required. Refunds or transfers are not offered for weather related cancellations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
