Big Red Barn Night Run/Walk
This is a pet friendly evening run and walk held at The Big Red Barn Trails in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. The event offers marked routes with water tables, parking, venue entry and a finisher medal. Participants also earn Vitality points. The Red Barn Restaurant at the venue will be open for pizza and drinks. A headlamp or torch is compulsory for all participants.
Distances available:
- 2 km (online R80)
- 5 km (online R110)
- 10 km (online R130)
Online entry fees are listed per distance. On-the-day entries incur an additional R30 except for children under 13 years and adults over 60 years, who pay R80 with no extra on-the-day charge. No license is required to take part. Walking and hiking are permitted on all distances provided participants finish within the event cut-off time. Route profiles, elevation information and GPX files are available for download.
There is an optional Make a Difference Campaign: participants may donate the cost of their medal by placing it in the campaign box, or add an extra donation. Funds collected through this campaign will be donated at year end to an animal shelter.
