Aquathlon Provincial Championships Ontario
The Aquathlon Provincial Championships take place at Kelso Conservation Area in Milton on August 27, 2026. The championship format depends on water temperature. If the water is 22°C or warmer, wetsuits are illegal and the course is a 2.5 km run, 1 km swim, then 2.5 km run. If the water is below 22°C, wetsuits are legal and the event changes to a 1 km swim and a 5 km run.
A shorter Aquathlon Half is also offered with a 500 m swim followed by a 2.5 km run. Course maps show the swim on Kelso Lake and the 2.5 km run route around the site.
The championship provides qualification opportunities for the 2027 Aquathlon Age Group World Championships with one spot per age group per gender. Competitors in the championship must hold 2026 Triathlon Ontario membership. Competitors in the Half do not need an annual membership though annual members receive a discount.
