Argus Apple Triathlon
The Argus Apple Triathlon takes place in Kelowna, British Columbia, within the Okanagan valley. This multi-sport event is centered at Kelowna City Park and features courses that include swimming in Okanagan Lake, cycling through city streets and wine country, and running along the waterfront.
The event offers a variety of competitive formats:
- Standard Distance : 1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.
- Sprint Distance : 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run.
- Super Sprint : 300m swim, 10km bike, and 2.5km run.
- Standard Aquabike : 1.5km swim and 40km bike.
- Relays : available for the standard distance triathlon.
- Kids and Youth Races : specific distances for ages 6 to 15.
The schedule consists of a race expo and package pick-up on Saturday, with all races occurring on Sunday. The standard, sprint, and aquabike events serve as Triathlon Canada Age Group National Championships, with no prior qualification requirement for entry.
