Butterfly Run Okanagan 2026
The Butterfly Run Okanagan takes place on October 3, 2026 at Kelowna City Park (1600 Abbott Street, Kelowna, BC). The event features both a run and a walk and is listed as the 4th Annual Butterfly Run Okanagan.
The event supports people who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), and infant loss. Proceeds fund local initiatives and free bereavement programs delivered by Butterfly Support Network. Registration details note that children under 12 are free but must be registered; children do not receive a race kit or t-shirt as part of the free registration and a children-size t-shirt can be purchased for CA$15 during registration. Adult registrations include a t-shirt by default, with September 1 as the last day to guarantee preferred adult sizes. There is an option during registration to decline a race kit. Race registrations are non-refundable; if the event becomes fully virtual refunds will not be issued but race kits and shirts will still be provided.
Pre-event race kit pick-up is scheduled on September 26 at locations in Kelowna (Dolphins Statue, 1200 Water Street) and Vernon (Lakeview Park, 3001 18th Street). Race day pick-up is available at the Kelowna City Park registration table. Event amenities listed include live entertainment, food trucks and refreshments, a kid zone, local vendors, community resource booths, and paid parking at the City Park lot with free parking available at nearby parkades.
