Butterfly Run Okanagan 2026
The Butterfly Run Okanagan is the 4th annual community running and fundraising event held on October 3, 2026 at Kelowna City Park (1600 Abbott Street, Kelowna, BC). The event raises funds and awareness for people who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), and infant loss. Proceeds support local initiatives and free bereavement programs delivered by the Butterfly Support Network.
The event program includes a short run and a walk, followed by a post-event celebration with live entertainment, food trucks, a kid zone, local vendors and community resource booths.

Race kit and shirt information is provided with paid registrations; registrants may choose not to receive a kit. Adult registrations include a t-shirt, with September 1 as the last day to guarantee a preferred size. Children under 12 are free but must be registered; race kits and shirts are not included for free child registrations and child-size shirts are available for purchase at registration for CA$15.
Pre-event race kit pick-up is scheduled on September 26 in Kelowna at the Dolphins Statue (1200 Water Street) and in Vernon at Lakeview Park (3001 18th Street). Race day pick-up is at the Kelowna City Park registration table. Registrations are non-refundable; if the event moves fully to a virtual format, registrants will still receive their race kit and shirt.
