Butterfly Run Okanagan is dedicated to supporting people affected by infertility, pregnancy loss, TFMR, and infant loss. Its mission is to build a local community, raise awareness, and fundraise for in-person and online support programs. Proceeds support local initiatives and free bereavement programs through Butterfly Support Network.
Registration and race kit Each paid registration includes a race kit and t shirt, with an option to decline the kit during registration. Adult registrations include a t shirt; preferred sizes are guaranteed until September 1. Children under 12 are free but must be registered; race kit and t shirt are not included for them. Children's t shirts can be purchased for CA$15 during registration and are not available after September 1. Race registrations are non-refundable; if the event becomes entirely virtual, refunds will not be issued but race kits and shirts will still be provided.
Pickup and event features Pre-event kit pickup is scheduled for September 26 at locations in Kelowna and Vernon, and on-event pickup is available at the park. The program includes a welcome with acknowledgements and personal stories, a group warm up, and a post-event celebration with live entertainment, food trucks, a kid zone, local vendors, and community resource booths. Paid parking is available at the City Park lot and free parking is available at nearby parkades. Registrations can be individual or part of a team.
