Butterfly Run Okanagan 2026
Butterfly Run Okanagan takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Kelowna City Park, 1600 Abbott Street, Kelowna, British Columbia. This is the fourth annual edition of the event in the Okanagan region.
The event supports people who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, TFMR, and infant loss. Its mission is to build a local community, raise awareness, and fundraise for in-person and online support programs. All proceeds support local initiatives and free bereavement programs through Butterfly Support Network. Fundraising to date shows CA$682.90 raised by participating organizations.

Each paid registration includes a race kit and a t-shirt, with an option to decline the kit. Adult registrations include a t-shirt. Children's t-shirts are available for purchase at CA$15 during registration. September 1 is the last day to guarantee a preferred t-shirt size; late registrations may receive an alternate size. Children's shirts will not be available after September 1.
Children under 12 are free but must be registered. Race registrations are non-refundable; if the event becomes fully virtual refunds will not be issued but race kits and shirts will still be provided.
Pre-event race kit pick-up is scheduled in Kelowna and Vernon on September 26, and race day kit pick-up will take place at Kelowna City Park. A post-event celebration will include live entertainment, food trucks, a kid zone, local vendors, and community resource booths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
