Event Overview
The Apple Blossom 5k & 1 Mile is an annual event held in Rittman, Ohio. Taking place at Bauman Orchards, the event provides participants with the opportunity to run or walk through the orchard setting. This fifth annual edition includes options for different activity levels and welcomes families and pets.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km run
- 1 mile run/walk
Registration for the 5 km event includes a race bib, a finisher medal, a shirt, and a snack bag. Those participating in the 1 mile event receive a shirt and a snack bag. Children under the age of 10 may participate in the walk for free, though this option does not include a t-shirt. Leashed dogs are permitted to join participants during the 1 mile walk.
The event recognizes performance with prizes for the top overall male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are provided for the top male and female participants in 10-year age groups. Some winners are also selected through a random bib draw. The course is located at 161 Rittman Avenue, and the race utilizes local orchards for the route.
