Another Dam 50k & 25k
The Another Dam 50k & 25k is an ultramarathon event held at Englewood MetroPark in Ohio. The course is designed as a 7.77-mile loop which participants complete multiple times depending on their chosen distance. The terrain consists of a mix of trails, grass, and pavement, featuring 459 feet of ascent and three waterfalls per loop.
The event offers two main distances:
- 50k (four loops)
- 25k (two loops)
The race starts on the west side of the park at the Lawwill Shelter, which serves as the primary location for packet pickup, the start/finish line, and an aid station. A second aid station is located at the Patty Shelter. These manned stations provide water, electrolytes, and various snacks such as fruit, pretzels, pickles, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Participants have access to on-site amenities including restrooms at the start/finish area and along the course. Drop bags may be stored at the Lawwill Shelter or in personal vehicles, and runners have the option to drop bags at the Patty Shelter. The event allows the use of pacers provided a waiver is completed. This race is part of the 200k No Way! and 300k Grand Slam series organized by the Ohio River Road Runner’s Club.
