Another Dam 50k & 25k
The Another Dam 50k & 25k is an endurance event held at Englewood MetroPark in Englewood, Ohio. Organized by the Ohio River Road Runner’s Club, the race takes place on the west side of the park, with the primary hub located at the Lawwill Shelter.
Available distances include:
- 50k (four loops)
- 25k (two loops)
The course consists of a 7.77-mile loop that runners complete multiple times depending on their chosen distance. The terrain features a mix of trail, grass, and pavement. Each loop involves approximately 459 feet of ascent and passes by three waterfalls. Participants have a total time limit of eight hours to complete the course, or eight and a half hours for those who choose the early start option.
Two manned aid stations are available during the event: the Lawwill Shelter at the start and finish of the loop, and the Patty Shelter, which participants pass twice per loop. These stations provide water, electrolytes, and various food items such as chips, pretzels, pickles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and fruit. Runners may keep drop bags at the Lawwill Shelter or in their vehicles, and pacers are permitted provided they sign a waiver. The event is part of the 200k No Way and 300k Grand Slam series.
