Double Days 48 Hour Race : Middletown, OH
The event takes place at Berachah Church, next to pickleball courts, a playground and "A Field of Dreams" in Middletown, OH. The course is a flat, looped circuit of approximately one mile with net elevation gain of 0. The surface crosses a mowed field, a wooded trail section and a short paved segment, and includes a mound near the end of the loop.
Event options include multiple timed endurance formats:
- 48 hour run
- 24 hour run
- 12 hour run
- 12 hour ruck
- 6 hour run
- 3 hour run
One aid station is located near the start and finish offering typical ultra hydration and nutrition. Cooked meals are served every six hours. Camping and limited RV parking are available, and canopies and tents may be set up along the course. Pacers are allowed for later portions of the event. Animals are not permitted on the course.
Proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County and Abilities First. Participants are asked to bring non perishable protein donations for local food pantries.
Awards include a $100 cash prize for the top male and female in the 48 hour category, a custom buckle for entrants reaching 100 miles or more, additional participation awards, and limited early registration swag such as a custom hat.
