53rd Annual Walpole Labor Day Road Race
The 53rd Annual Walpole Labor Day Road Race takes place on Monday September 7, 2026, at Walpole High School, 275 Common Street, Walpole, MA 02081. The event starts and finishes at the high school and offers multiple race options for participants.
Distances included:
- 10K road race
- 5K run/walk
- 1 mile youth fun run
- Virtual 5K and virtual 10K
The race serves as the largest fundraiser for Walpole High School cross country and track and field programs. Funds support more than 200 student athletes across six seasons. The event provides in-person and virtual participation options.
Entry fees published for the event include pre-registration at $35, regular registration at $40, youth (13 and younger) and seniors (65 and older) at $20, and a youth mile fee of $20. Participants who register before August 15 receive the official event T-shirt. All participants receive a finisher medal, and race T-shirts are available for sale for $20.
In-person awards include engraved trophies for 10K winners, placement medals for the top three 5K and 10K finishers, and a team plaque. Age group awards are not being issued this year. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified. Strollers are welcome in the 5K and should line up at the back of the starting pack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
