Merrimack River 10‑Mile Trail Race
The event is a USATF sanctioned trail race held on April 10, 2027 in Andover, MA. The course is an out‑and‑back trail totaling 10 miles, starting from the back parking lot of the DoubleTree by Hilton on Old River Road.
Portable bathroom facilities will be provided; participants are asked not to use the hotel’s indoor facilities. Parking is available in the back lot at the DoubleTree. The course includes unmanned water stations at 2 and 8 miles and a manned water station at 4 miles.
Entry options include online pre‑registration fees (adult and youth rates) with an additional fee to add a race t‑shirt; a limited number of shirts are available. A higher race day entry fee applies and there are no refunds or deferrals. Certain groups receive free entry; t‑shirt fees may still apply.
Awards and prizes cover overall and age group placings with a mix of cash for new course records and food prizes for overall and age group winners, second and third places, largest team, and a muddiest runner award. Post‑race refreshments and a raffle follow the finish. Event proceeds are donated to the Andover Village Improvement Society to support Merrimack River Trail maintenance.
