Event
The Merrimack River 10M is a USATF-sanctioned trail race on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The course is an out-and-back on the Merrimack River Trail and is listed as 10 miles. The race starts from the back parking lot of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Andover, MA.
Logistics and awards
Portable bathroom facilities will be provided; participants are asked not to use the hotel’s indoor facilities. Parking is available in the hotel back parking lot. Water stations are unmanned at 2 and 8 miles and manned at 4 miles. Post-race refreshments will include bagels, fruit, drinks and snacks, and there will be a post-race raffle and awards. All net proceeds will be donated to the Andover Village Improvement Society for Merrimack River Trail maintenance.
Entry fees: online pre-registration adult $15.00, youth (19 and under) $10.00 (pre-registration closed on Wed 4/8/2026); race day entry $30.00. Add $10 for a race t-shirt (limited availability, about 40 shirts). No refunds or deferrals; there is no field limit. A $100 prize is offered for new course records. Age-group and overall awards include baked and homemade prizes across age divisions and categories. Free entry is available for certain eligible groups.
