Annapolis RUN for The Light House

Annapolis RUN for The Light House is the 18th annual event supporting The Light House, a public charity that works to end homelessness and poverty. The in-person event takes place at Sassafras Pavilion in Quiet Waters Park, 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis, MD. A virtual option runs from Friday, September 10 through Sunday, September 12, 2027.

• 13.1 Miles Half Marathon (in-person and virtual)
• 3.1 Miles 5K (in-person and virtual)
• 1.25 Miles Walk (in-person)

The event is organized by Friends of The Light House, Inc., with timing and race management by T3 Race Management. Registration fees vary by date: the in-person Half Marathon ranges from $105 to $135, the in-person 5K ranges from $52 to $67, the walk is $29, and virtual options include an additional fee for shirts. In-person fees include a commemorative technical shirt, finisher medals for Half Marathon and 5K finishers, race support, beverage stations, post race breakfast, and timing bibs for the 5K and Half Marathon. Shirts are not guaranteed if ordered after August 1.

Packet pick up for in-person runners is scheduled on the Saturday before the race at The Light House, 10 Hudson Street, with a drive through option. Rules include minimum ages for events, no headphones, no wheels or strollers, no pets, keeping right unless passing, and wearing the timing bib as directed. Volunteers are welcome; student volunteers can receive service hours. The event collects adult athletic shoe donations and shelf stable breakfast items for The Light House food pantry.
