Annal's Angels 5K Run/Walk
The Annal's Angels 5K takes place at Palmer Elementary in Baldwinsville, New York. This community event honors the memory of Maryella and Elizabeth Annal by bringing participants together to celebrate their lives. All proceeds from the race are distributed to local non-profit organizations and the Annal’s Angels foundation. These funds support the Central New York community with a specific focus on literacy programs.
Past projects funded by this event include the renovation of the Baldwinsville Public Library children’s room and the establishment of endowment scholarships in the names of the two girls. Previous years' donations have also benefited the Baldwinsville Christmas Bureau and local animal rescues. Participants who register by August 20th are guaranteed an event shirt.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles)
- Koala Krawl (Kids fun run for ages 10 and under)
Packet pickup is available at the Baldwinsville Public Library on East Genesee Street and at the school on the morning of the event. The kids fun run is priced at twelve dollars and includes a shirt.
