Aniridia 5K & 1 Mile Family Walk
The event is the 14th annual Aniridia 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk held in Philadelphia to benefit the Overbrook School for the Blind. One hundred percent of net proceeds from the event support the school's programs. Overbrook School for the Blind was founded in 1832 and provides Pre-K through 12 education intended to expand options for people with visual impairments.
The in-person 5K course is routed in the Wissahickon Hills section of Roxborough and passes through Wissahickon Valley Park alongside the Wissahickon Creek. A virtual 5K and 1 Mile Walk option is available for participants to complete at any location on September 19, 2026.
