Anime Fan and Fitness Festival
The Anime Fan and Fitness Festival takes place in Gilroy, California on September 19, 2026 at 7049 Miller Ave. It is the event's second annual edition and combines anime culture with organized fitness activities, races and family programming. Cosplay is encouraged.
Race options held on paved trails use out and back loops. Distances included:
- 10K run and walk - out and back loop on paved trail, 6.2 miles.
- 5K run and walk - out and back loop on paved trail, 3.1 miles.
- Little Ninja Dash - approximately 400 meters on an out and back paved trail.
Registration opens January 19, 2026. Listed registration fees are $55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and no fee for the Little Ninja Dash. Little Ninja participants must register by July 31 to receive a finisher ribbon. Each registration includes official timing results from SVE Timing, an official race bib and a finisher wooden medal; a finisher t-shirt is available for an additional fee.
The festival also includes a victory village with small businesses, local food and local performers. A Fandom Anime Quest lets participants complete challenges to earn an Initial Mile Warrior Badge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
