Stronger Together 2026 - 1K/5K Walk and Run and Family Event
Stronger Together is a community awareness and fundraising event organized by Monarch Services to mark the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event takes place on September 20, 2026 at the Aptos High School track and field and is presented as the fifth annual edition.
The program includes a short children and youth fun run and a longer walk and run course, plus on-site activities such as a dance performance, children's activities, music, food trucks, community resource tables, raffles, and team prizes. Same day registration is available. Early bird pricing and a special family package are offered through the registration period.

Published registration details show a family package with a minimum $84.95 donation that includes two adult registrations, unlimited children registrations, and a tote bag. The event supports Monarch Services fundraising efforts for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking across Santa Cruz County. The fundraising goal is $20,000 and the current amount raised is $102.88. Sponsors named include California Giant Berry Farms, West Coast Community Bank, Allstate Insurance Huizar Albor Insurance Agency Inc., Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and Sutter Health.
