Angry Owl Ultramarathons : Salem, Oregon (Aug 8–9, 2026)
Angry Owl Ultramarathons is a timed weekend running event held in Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, Oregon on August 8–9, 2026. The event is organized by Crusty Cap and offers multiple timed formats on a short loop course.

- 12 hours
- 6 hours
The course is a 1.05 mile loop that combines hard packed dirt, maintained non-technical trail, packed gravel, and some asphalt. Timed runners repeat the loop as many times as they are able in their chosen time limit. Timing is chip based and provided by Race Northwest.
There is a single aid station located near the start/finish area stocked with water, electrolyte drink, fruits, salty snacks, sweet snacks, and additional items. Runners may leave personal food near the finish area and should bring their own bottle or cup.
The event headquarters are at the southeast end of Bush's Pasture Park by the Phillips Softball Field. A small parking lot is adjacent to the start/finish area, so vehicles remain accessible during the run. Runners may set up chairs and coolers near the start/finish as long as they do not impede others; overnight camping at the park the night before the race is not permitted. The park is open to the public and spectators are welcome.
Each participant receives a cap supplied by the organizers. No participant medals will be issued; organizers plan to provide awards or goods from Salem businesses for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
