Angry Bird Turkey Run
The Angry Bird Turkey Run is a community running event presented by We Run Gwinnett at Bay Creek Park in Loganville, GA on November 22, 2026. The event program includes multiple distances for adults, families, and children and uses paved park paths.
Distances offered:
- 10K 6.2 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile 1 mile
- Little Turkey Trot 50 yards
The 10K is organized as two laps of the official 5K course through Bay Creek Park. The 5K course is described as mostly flat and scenic. The 1 Mile event is intended as a fun run or walk for families and new runners. The Little Turkey Trot is a short kids dash designed for young participants.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups spanning 0 to over 70 years. Overall champions in both the 10K and the 5K receive a free turkey and a champion trophy. Finisher medals are provided for 10K and 5K participants.
