Drew's Angel Creek 50
Drew's Angel Creek 50 offers two point to point trail races near Fairbanks, Alaska. The event includes a 50 mile race and a 50K race that both finish at Chena Hot Springs Resort on Chena Hot Springs Road. The 50 mile starts at Twin Bears Camp (Mile 30 Chena Hot Springs Rd). The 50K starts at the Angel Rocks Trailhead parking lot and joins the 50 mile course before the finish.

The courses are roughly a 50/50 mix of hard packed trail with good footing and technical sections mostly along ridge lines. The route is road accessible only at the start locations, the Angel Rocks Trailhead, and the finish. Drop bags for the 50 mile race are available at checkpoints located at miles 30 and 42 and at the finish. Drop bags for the 50K can be left at its start line, which also serves as the 37K / 23 mile checkpoint. A shuttle service runs from Chena Hot Springs Resort to the start locations. Elevation figures are provided for each distance: the 50 mile has 12,600 ft gain and 12,000 ft loss, the 50K has 6,400 ft gain and 6,200 ft loss.
