2nd Annual Angel Baby Fun Run
The Angel Baby Fun Run is a community running event hosted by Hearts & Halos: Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness. The event takes place at Miller Quarters Park in Minden, Louisiana. This gathering focuses on raising awareness for pregnancy and infant loss while providing support for affected families.
The event features a single running distance:
- 3.6 Miles
Participants aged 18 and older must register for the run. Children aged 17 and under may participate for free and do not require separate registration, provided they are accompanied by a registered adult. Upon check-in, participants receive a race bib number along with an Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness wristband and pin.
The event includes a post-run community celebration called Halo Fest. This portion of the day features local vendors, food stalls, and a live DJ. Additional activities include a pumpkin patch, various games, and specific healing and remembrance activities. A bubble release is also held to honor angel babies. Event merchandise, such as t-shirts, drawstring bags, and tumblers, is available through pre-order and is distributed at check-in; no merchandise is sold on-site during the race.
