Andy Buschmann 4-Mile Classic
The Andy Buschmann 4-Mile Classic takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Batesville, Arkansas. The event is a 4-mile road race with a USATF-certified course. The route runs downhill through Batesville's historic residential and downtown districts, with a couple of substantial climbs through nearby neighborhoods mid-race. Proceeds from the event are donated to local charities serving Independence County.
Logistics and race details
The race location and packet area are at 500 E Main St (Batesville Municipal Building). There is ample parking at City Hall and in parking lots throughout the Main Street area. Chip timing is provided by OK Timing Plus. Early packet pickup is offered the evening before the race at the parking lot at 500 E Main; race-day packet pickup is available at the same location the morning of the event. Registration cost is $35 and all participants receive a race shirt. Race-day registration is available. All finishers receive a commemorative race goodie. Awards are given to the top three males and females overall and masters (40+), and to the top three males and females in standard youth and adult age groups. If the event is cancelled, entries will be deferred to the 2027 race; refunds are not issued.
