The Andover Half Marathon & 12km takes place in Andover on 25 October 2026 with start and finish on Andover High Street. Distances offered:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 12km - ≈12.77 km
Eligibility: Half entrants must be 16 or older on race day; 12km entrants must be 13 or older. Accurate chip timing is used and results are published after the race. The Half has a 3.5-hour cut-off; the 12km has a 2.5-hour cut-off. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher’s medal. Cash prizes of £100 are awarded to the first male and first female overall; overall podium places and age-category awards are also noted. The 12km does not receive placing or prizes.
Course, facilities and safety
The Half Marathon follows a mixed-terrain course that is about 84% paved and includes panoramic countryside views and three Iron Age hill forts. Total climb for the Half is about 229 m (751 ft). The course is way-marked and marshalled, with checkpoints throughout. Aid stations for the Half are located at 4.7 miles and 9 miles (additional provision on hot days); the 12km has no aid station. A town-centre race village is located on Andover High Street with a first-aid/medical tent and support vehicle coverage on course.
