Andover Half Marathon & 12km
The Andover Half Marathon & 12km is an organised running event in Andover, Hampshire on 25 October 2026. The race uses a town-centre race village on Andover High Street, with the course signed and marshalled and accurate chip timing for all participants. The event is run by Seasons Run Club.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, about 84% paved, 229 m climb.
- 12 km: about 12.77 km, mostly paved, approximately 100 m climb.
The half marathon route passes through quiet villages and offers countryside views including three Iron Age hill forts. The course is way-marked with checkpoints and marshals, and there is a 3.5 hour cut-off for the half. Aid stations for the half are at 4.7 miles and 9 miles, with extra provision on hot days. The 12 km route does not include an aid station and runners should carry hydration as needed. Medical support includes a first aid tent at the race village and support vehicles on course.
Prizes and categories are published, including a £100 cash prize for first male and first female overall, overall podium places and age categories, plus a finisher medal for all finishers. Town parking is free on Sundays with several suggested car parks listed in the event information. Eligibility rules require entrants to be fit to participate and set minimum ages for each distance.
