Andover Half Marathon & 12km
The event takes place on 25 October 2026 in Andover with a town centre race village located on Andover High Street. Two distances are offered:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 12km - ≈12.77 km
The Half Marathon is a mixed terrain course, approximately 84% paved, with panoramic countryside views including three ancient hill forts. The route climbs about 229 m (751 ft) in total and is way marked with marshals and checkpoints along the course. Aid stations are located at 4.7 miles and 9 miles, with additional stations on hot days. The Half uses chip timing with results published after the race.
The 12km route is slightly long at about 12.77 km, mostly paved with around 10% firm dirt and roughly 100 m elevation gain. There is no aid station on the 12km route.
Awards for the Half Marathon include a finisher’s medal for every runner, cash prizes of £100 for first Male and first Female overall, overall podium places for 1st to 3rd in male and female categories, and age-group awards. There are no placings or prizes for the 12km.
Parking in town is free on Sundays; suggested car parks include George Yard, Chantry Centre, Black Swan Yard, and Town Mills. Volunteer roles cover registration, on-course marshals, finish area support and aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
