General Information
The Ancaster Mill Race is an annual event taking place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This is a family-oriented event with multiple course options.
Available Courses
- 1 km: A non-competitive fun run for children age 12 and under, featuring a Kid Zone with games.
- 5 km: A family walk/run course.
- 10 km: A family walk/run course. This is a double loop of the 5 km route.
Location and Logistics
The event is held at 385 Jerseyville Road West in Hamilton, Ontario. Registration and race bib pickup occur on race day at the Morgan Firestone Arena. A section of Jerseyville Rd. W. will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event for participant safety.
Awards and draw prizes are scheduled after the races. Post-race food is provided. Parking is available at Morgan Firestone Arena and Ancaster High School.
Support and History
The event supports Ancaster Community Services (ACS), a local organization. It has been running for over 42 years and is title-sponsored by The Ancaster Mill. The kids' fun run is dedicated to the memory of the late Jim Wilkins, a former track coach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
