Ancaster Mill Race : event description
The Ancaster Mill Race takes place on June 2, 2026 at 385 Jerseyville Road West, Hamilton, ON, Canada. The event has run for 42 years and offers family-focused running and walking options plus on-site activities for children.
Offered distances:
- 1 km non-competitive fun run for children age 12 and under with a kid zone.
- 5 km Family Walk/Run.
- 10 km Family Walk/Run; the 10 km route is a double loop of the 5 km course.
Post-race food is provided by the title sponsor, The Ancaster Mill. The race supports Ancaster Community Services; the fundraising goal is $3,500 and $6.33 has been raised so far. Route safety is managed by the Hamilton Police Service with road closures and restricted access where needed. Race-day registration and race-bib pick-up are located at Morgan Firestone Arena. Event parking is available at Morgan Firestone Arena (access from Martin's Side Road) and additional parking at Ancaster High School, 374 Jerseyville Rd.
