Moon in June Road Race : Burlington 2026
The Moon in June is an evening event on June 6, 2026, in downtown Burlington at 426 Brant Street, with start and finish near the blue clock in front of City Hall. The event is a 100% charity event supporting the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton.
Available distances and formats:
- 1 km Movati Meredith's Hero Run for Kids, ages 1 to 12 (waves).
- "Gordon's Grand K" 1 km for seniors and supporters.
- 5 km run or walk.
- 10 km run, two-loop course.
The course is certified and flat, highlighting the Burlington waterfront. Age rules: 5 km participants must be 8 or older (younger may join with a guardian); 10 km participants must be 12 or older (younger may join with a guardian).
Event features include a KidFest with activities, medals and refreshments for finishers, post-race food and soft drinks, a live band, awards, and beer gardens. The first beer is included with race entry. Bag check is available and a complimentary supervised bike corral is provided near City Hall.
Online registration opens June 12. Group discounts apply for teams of six or more (15%). The entry change policy offers, depending on timing, refund options, deferral to the following year, transfer to another person, or conversion of the entry fee into a donation; no options are available within 14 days of the race.
