Moon in June Road Race
The Moon in June is a community road event in Burlington. The 2027 edition is held on June 5 and marks the 38th installment. The event is organized entirely by volunteers and has no paid staff. Over its history the Moon in June has donated more than 1.4 million dollars to local charities.
All proceeds go directly to the Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton. That foundation provides additional resources and programs for children, youth and families involved in the child welfare system in the Region of Halton, funding services not fully supported by the provincial government.
The event includes family and race activities such as Rocca Sisters Kidsfest, a kids run, and a post-race gathering with live entertainment and refreshments.
