Course and Route
The Moon in June Road Race is an evening event in downtown Burlington. The flat and fast course is a certified single loop for the 5 km and a double loop for the 10 km, highlighting the Burlington waterfront. The start and finish are at the blue clock in front of City Hall.
Available Disciplines
The event offers several options:
- A 1 km fun run for children aged 1 to 12.
- A "Gordon's Grand K" walk for seniors and charity supporters.
- A 5 km run or walk.
- A 10 km run.
- The "Rocca Sisters KidsFest", an activity center for children before the run.
Practical Information
The event takes place on the first Saturday of June. Online registration opens on a specified date with early bird pricing. Bib pick-up is available the day before or on race day at the venue.
Registration before a specified cut-off date includes a custom event t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Group discounts are available for teams of six or more. A complimentary, supervised bike corral is provided on-site. There is a participant cap.
Post-race activities include a light meal, drinks, and a beer garden. The event is 100% charitable, with all proceeds going to the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
